Digiday Publishing Summit Highlights

Last week we found ourselves in the mountains of Colorado at the 2019 Digiday Publisher Summit. As we settle back into our post-Vail lives, I wanted to capture a few themes emerging from last week’s summit and associated client conversations. 

A New Paradigm in Publisher Analytics is Needed

2019 had an ominous start for open-web publishers. BuzzFeed, Verizon Media, and Gannett all announced significant layoffs that hit content creators particularly hard. Publishers deserve revenue attribution that rewards content creators who impact the bottom line.

The Indexes rank the relative quality of pro- grammatic advertising sellers based on Pixalate’s proprietary technology that analyzes more than 100 billion monthly impressions.
